Royal Commission Interim Report – What to Expect

Commissioner Hayne’s Interim Report in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking Superannuation and Financial Services industries is expected to be provided to the Federal Government by the end of the week.

The interim report will contain the Commissioner’s findings in respect of the first four rounds of hearing which covered:

  • Consumer lending;
  • Financial advice;
  • Loans to small and medium enterprises; and
  • Experiences with financial services entities in regional and remote communities.

A summary of the findings that Counsel Assisting have submitted are open to the Commissioner in each of the first four rounds of hearings is to be found at the following link.
