Ian is a commercial litigation lawyer specialising in corporations law, contractual, trade practices (part IV and V litigation) and insurance litigation. He works with clients in a range of industries, including the manufacturing, logistics, health and pharmaceutical areas. Ian takes a proactive approach with his clients to provide practical commercial advice in day to day matters or large-scale complex litigation.

He has wide experience in each of these areas, but particular strength in directors and officers duties and corporate governance issues, contractual disputes involving injunctive relief and claims for damages.

He has also been involved in trade practices litigation, dealing with manufacturers liability and consumer protection issues and all forms of insurance litigation.

Ian has given strategic direction on regulatory matters involving the health industry in areas such as pathology, pharmaceutical, consumer products in the context of regulation by the Health Insurance Commission, Therapeutic Goods Administration and under the Prescribed Medical Benefit Scheme.
