Tony is the National Head of Piper Alderman’s Property & Projects Division.
Tony specialises in commercial property and business transactions. He has particular expertise acting in relation to retail and office developments, residential and mixed use projects, commercial tenancies, community and strata title matters as well as the acquisition, leasing, management and disposal of a wide range of commercial properties, businesses and other commercial entities.
Tony provides stamp duty and GST advice and negotiates with landlords, tenants, builders, financiers and the FIRB. He also advises in relation to trusts and estates, has expertise in planning and polluted land issues and undertakes negotiations with government and other regulatory bodies.
In the Asia Pacific Legal 500 2012, Tony was recommended for his ‘confident, timely, professional & well considered advice’. He was also listed in the Australian Financial Review’s Best Lawyers list in 2012 and 2013 for Real Estate and in 2013 was named Best Lawyers' 2013 - Real Property "Lawyer of the Year" in South Australia.
